The Last Knock opens the door to a Shudder trio…

Shudder: A Feast for Horror Fans

Since its inception in 2015, Shudder has become the go-to streaming service for horror fans. Offering a wide selection of Stateside and international fare spanning many decades, to exclusive series and film premieres.

What sets them apart from the lackluster selections of Prime and Netflix? Their content is curated by horror-conscious folks, who have a keen eye for quality over the derivative, rip-off rubbish that can be found elsewhere. Contrary to popular belief, horror fans know quality when they see it.

Expect the Unexpected

In honor of Shudder’s unpredictable acquisitions, Jonny takes a look at three “Shudder Exclusives” that couldn’t be more different: the survival horror of Haunt; the social commentary of Slaxx; and the otherworldly madness of Fried Barry.

Do these films deliver scares, insight, or a delirious mindfuck? Or do they fail to meet expectations? Listen in to find out…and feel free to pass your Shudder recommendations along to us!

Note: What’s up with the one-man shows as of late? Never fear, Jonny Numb and Billy Crash are still The Last Knock duo! But due to work demands, COVID-19 vaccine recovery, and individual writing projects, time has been demanding. The pair will get on the same wavelength soon enough!
