THE LAST KNOCK presents: Avian Horror

THE LAST KNOCK horror podcast on avian horror
THE LAST KNOCK opens the door to avian horror…

Avian Horror: Birds of a Feather Kill Together?

Sure you’ve heard of Hitchcock’s The Birds, but are their other avian based horror films out there? THE LAST KNOCK leaves its perch and takes flight to find out.

We’ll look at what makes avian horror – or fail miserably – and look at those films that use birds as harbingers of doom.

One of the interesting elements is why ravens and crows are often used, when carrion consuming creatures like vultures barely find their way on screen.

The great thing is that we did find a horror film (an extremely bad one mind you) that brought fans an avian of a different color, while Troma Films delivered Poultrygeist: Night of the Chicken Dead in a to-go box of cinematic proportions.

This isn’t the time for you to ruffle your feathers but to get down in your nest to see what hatches…

You can always listen to THE LAST KNOCK on iTunes, and the crew greatly appreciates starred comments, for better or for worse, if you have the time.
