Second Chance Horror: Another Go

Whenever we watch a film, we bring our life experiences to the story on screen. Depending upon our age and state of mind, what we’re watching might not resonate with our psyche. This is reason enough that some horror films may deserve a second chance. For all we know, that horror movie that put us to sleep or pisses us off, may really rock our world now…

Hate to Love

At a time when the world is in disarray due to COVID-19 quarantine, finding new love in something once despised may be a great thing.

Billy and Jonny sit down to discuss the movies they once loathed – and why they were hated – and how a second viewing turned things around.

Why did Polansky’s Repulsion once seem so dull and distant? How could 1933’s The Invisible Man seem silly yet now brings terror? How could Rob Zombie’s The Devil’s Rejects seem stupid and then rise to the occasion?

The Last Knock will explore those feature films and more on this “let’s turn things around” episode.
