THE LAST KNOCK presents: Scooby Gang Horror

THE LAST KNOCK opens the door to Scooby Gang horror…

Why Scooby Gang Horror Rocks

The “Scooby Gang” has been a thing since Scooby Doo and company drove around in the Mystery Machine to thwart ill-tempered adults as meddling kids are apt to do.

As a sort of horror sub-genre, the idea of the Scooby Gang came to light with Joss Whedon’s phenomenal Buffy the Vampire Slayer television series. Granted, there was The Goonies and Monster Squad, but Buffy took the concept to a whole new level of ultra-coolness.

THE LAST KNOCK will take a look at what it takes to make up a Scooby Gang. We’ll not only look at some great horror films with this element at the character core, but also take a gander at those features with a twist on the theme.

The theme certainly isn’t limited to the United States, and we’ll see what other nations have to offer when it comes to bands of young people working together to solve mysteries, unmask bad guys, and come of age in a unique rite of passage.

Most important, find out how talking about Scooby Gang Horror leads Ray Bradbury’s The Halloween Tree, and then to hero Anthony Borges, the young man who blocked a door with his body to save his classmates in the Fort Lauderdale shooting.
