Rob Zombie’s Halloween: Turning the Knife 15 Times

Rob Zombie’s Halloween reboot from Dimension Films has been trashed by many a horror fan over the past fifteen years.

Granted, this comes from those enamored with John Carpenter’s original from 1978. Well, it’s hard to argue when many consider the Carpenter version to be the penultimate slasher film as horror sub-genre’s go.

But on its fifteenth anniversary, Jonny Numb and Billy Crash decided to sit down and deconstruct Rob Zombie’s Halloween.

What’s worse?

The duo declares whether Zombie’s remake beats out Carpenter’s version…

Love It or Hate It

Horror aficionados have always had a love-hate relationship with remakes. And for those who say they hate horror movie remakes, Hollywood keeps making them because fans keep seeing them.

Beyond that, The Last Knock looks at story and character, as well as suspense and violence, to make their final decision.

In fact, part of the reason for doing the show is that Crash finally watched it for the first damn time.

So, sharpen your knives and get ready to shed some more blood in hapless Haddonfield.

Evil may not die tonight, but some horror movie fans may see red…
