THE LAST KNOCK presents: Behind the Horror: Fire

The Last Knock opens the door to Fire…

Fire, Fire, Fire!

It’s another installment of The Last Knock‘s “Behind the Horror” series – and this time, it’s about fire. This form of energy is one hell of a potent force that can represent many different things, including destruction, purification, and even hope. Of course, there’s much more behind fire and we’ll focus on what it means and how the horror genre uses the element. Both a powerful force in nature as well as in the hands of humanity, maybe one shouldn’t play with fire to begin with…

Burn, baby, burn!

Sure, we’ll define fire and explain what it can mean and why. But the real fun stuff lies in the horror films that used it the best. The Last Knock will take a look at John Carpenter’s The Thing, the movie adaptation of Stephen King’s Carrie, the unsettling Witchfinder General, and much more.

Anyway, we hope you get fired up about the show (we couldn’t resist).

Don’t forget to let us know what some of your fiery films are. After all, horror cinema seems to like it’s explosions and fire-laden mayhem as much as action films!
