We all know COVID-19 is here.
A vaccine may be a year away.
In the meantime, scientists work around the clock to find something to prevent infection.
Staying at home is the only way to stop the spread of the virus as the world economy comes to a halt.
Infections continue to rise.
As well as the body count…
But the recovered rate rises as well.
Horror Made Real
Horror fans have seen countless films about viruses bringing the world to its knees and leaving humanity on the edge of extinction.
From George A. Romero’s The Crazies to the zombie apocalypse of your choice, we’ve freaked out over what might really happen.
None of us expected to see toilet paper gobbled up by disrespectful and panicked fools, or politicians turning their backs on scientists and doctors.
The only good news about this viral juggernaut is that our current status of helplessness is temporary. But how many will suffer before there’s a vaccine or until the corona horror fades?
No one knows.
But let’s hope for cool heads and patience as we defeat this onslaught one day at a time.
